Web Apps: Edit an existing Sample Pricing Plan

How to Edit one of the sample Pricing Plans in the Pricing Plan web app.

Open the Pricing Plans Web App

Open the Pricing Plans Web App

From the Dashboard menu:

  1. Click on Web Apps
  2. Click on Pricing Plans

Click on the name of the plan you would like to edit: in this case we are editing the plane labelled Bookkeeping - Silver.

  1. Edit the name of the plan by clicking in the Item Name text area and deleting the existing name.
  2. Please note that in this case you will have to manually edit the URL, as it will not update automatically when you change the Item Name.*
  3. Make sure the plan is enabled by clicking on the check box labelled Enabled. If you wish to disable this pricing plan simply click on the check box again so that it is not ticked.

* Easier option: If you export to CSV, delete ALL web app items, then reimport the CSV,  the URLs are then reset to the names of the web app items. Therefore, if you don't want to have to manually rename the pricing plan URLs one by one, then you should use the CSV import process.

Edit Your Plan - Item Fields: Pricing and Description
  1. Tupe in the price for your plan in the Price text field.
  2. Use the After price description text field to set a recurring billing option, add a description such as '/mth' or '/yr'..
  3. Use the One Liner text field to add a tag line that briefly describes the benefit of your plan.
  4. In the Short Description text area, add one or two sentences that describe how your plan works.

  1. Feature Highlights appear on the pricing plan overview page - choose four or five options to feature.
  2. Features Included - the full list of features included in your pricing plan. This is displayed when a visitor clicks on the Learn More button at the bottom of the Feature Highlights on the pricing plan overview page.
  3. Additional Options - if you would like your plan to have any additional options, type those in here

  1. To add a photo to your testimonial click on the blue Select Image link next to the Testimonial Photo text area.
  2. Type a quote from your client into the Testimonial Quote text area.
  3. Type the name of your client who has provided the testimonial into the Testimonial Author Details text field.

Set Up Socketapp and PracticeIgnition

  1. Type your Socketapp Form Slug here
  2. Type your Socketapp Account Slug here
  3. Type your PracticeIgnition Id here

  1. Set a Release Date and Expiry Date for your plan (if necessary)
  2. Set the Weighting - - assign a number to the pricing plan so you can control which plan you would like to appear first. The higher the number, the higher up on the page your pricing plan will be placed.

Delete the 'How it works' and Lorem Ipsum text, and type an extended description of your Pricing Plan here in the Item Description text area.

Save Your Changes

Save Your Changes

Click on the blue Update button to save your changes to the plan.
