How to add a new testimonial using the Testimonials web app.

Open the Testimonials Web App

Open the Testimonials Web App

From the Dashboard menu:

  1. Click on Web Apps
  2. Click on Testimonials

Click on the grey Add Item button.

Add the Item Details

  1. Add the customer's name to the Item Name text field
  2. The URL will be created automatically for you after you have input the customer's name in the Item Name text field
  3. Make sure the Enabled check box is ticked so that your new Testimonial is displayed

More Options

More Options

Click on the blue arrow next to the More Options heading, to reveal the More Options panel. Here you can change the:

  1. Release Date - schedule the testimonial to be published on a date in the future.
  2. Expiry Date - set an expiry date if you wish the testimonial to be published for a limited time.
  3. Weighting - this enables you to arrange the order in which the testimonals appear. Simply assign a number to each testimonial in the Weighting text area - the higher the number the further up the list the testimonial will appear.

In the Item Description text area, type or paste in the text of your testimonial.

Save Your New Testimonial

Save Your New Testimonial

After you have finished adding your Testimonial information, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the blue Save and Add New Item button.

Your new Testimonial will now appear in the Smart Accounting Template at the bottom of the home page in the 'What Our Clients Say' panel.
